The Shear Beam Load Cell installation/Load Cell Shear Beam is a"bending beam"fixed at both ends. When a load is applied to the central section, the web of the beam deforms slightly. This deformation, known as shear strain, is measured by precision strain gauges bonded in the center of the beam.
